Wind Farm Array Navigation Simulation

The Paratus Group collaborated with Orsted North America to develop exacting models of both Revolution Wind and Ocean Wind Offshore Renewable Energy Installations to be used in high vessel bridge simulators. The Paratus Group has organized and led several conferences at MITAGS (MD) and USMRC (RI) simulators where participants gained first hand experience of the future realities of navigating vessels through these wind farm arrays. Vessels, weather, and other environmental conditions may be immediately adjusted to explore questions or concerns of the participants. Participants have come from regulatory agencies as well as the various stakeholder groups, most notably, the commercial fishing industry.
